Are these 974 generations (תתקע"ד דורות) that preceded Creation discussed in Chabad Chassidus?

According to what I recall, they are what caused Adam Harishon to sin, they were the generation of the mabul, they were the dor haflaga. I thought that they were the Egyptians that Yosef had circumcize themselves, and then subsequently the Erev Rav. But then I just saw somewhere that these 974 generations were the Jews who were enslaved by the later Pharoah.

Any clarifications available in Chabad Chassidus or from chochmei Chabadtalk?

I see (not in Chabad Chassidus, though) that the Arizal (sefer?) writes about the 974 generations that their "yichus" is as follows:

The sheidin of the 130 years Adam Harishon separated from Chava
Dor haMabul
Dor haflaga
Anshei Sdom

The 4th gilgul is in mitzrayim. Those that were rectified were born as the 12 tribes. Those not rectified were the Egyptians who were circumcized, converted, and became the Erev Rav.

If there were survivors of the flood other than Noah's descendants, as some maintain, then the Y-DNA phylogenetic chart would suggest that haplogroup A may have predated Adam whereas B may have been descendants of Cain. If true then it would follow that C, D, E and F would be the haplogroups of the descendants of Noah and F specifically, would be Shem. This is all just theory of course.

Which connects to your other question about the 974. Not the Chabad avodah in general.
Not sure what the avodah here is, just haskalah. But anyway, the connection of the 974 generations to the רפ"ח nitztutzos is clear (as brought above), and the רפ"ח nitztutzos is certainly an inyan Chabad Chassidus delves into.

וְרוּחַ אֱלֹהִים מְרַחֶפֶת עַל-פְּנֵי הַמָּיִם
מרחפת = רפ"ח מת

Since I only have a few bookshelves and I don't live near the most comprehensive Chassidus library North of Route 80 (and I don't work near it anymore, either), perhaps someone with a spirit of chesed could tell me something....

On another forum someone posted:
320 nitzutzot fell in Klipot and 288 of them are rectified by Mashiach, the remaining 32 cannot be rectified, sod of Amalek, and therefore they have to be utterly destroyed.
I never heard of 320 nitzutzos. A quick google search turns up a reference in the Arizal on shofar (here (http://www.kabbalaonline.org/Holydays/roshkippur/Shofar_Meditation.asp)) and the Ben Ish Hai (here (http://www.kabbalaonline.org/WeeklyTorah/PirkeiAvot/Avot_518_Its_All_in_the_Pulse.asp)), but maybe someone knows something more? Do tell.

Can you give over something on the topic?

Pretty please? :DGilgulim is not really my department, [although if I see the Sefardim soon I know who to ask...].

Only times I have really seen it mentioned in Chassidus is in the context that Gevurah brings, not in relation to yichus so much as Tohu/Tikkun.

(And searching the library I see the same kinds of things that you have already seen, i.e. they are the souls preceding M"T... they are the Erev Rav etc... and I'm not gonna start sifting through the other 200 seforim...)
