as could be expected the media is very interested in making Israel look as bad as possible.

just 2 things that i came accros:

there was this picture from Reuters of smoke over Lebanon by an arab photograher. turns out he "photoshoped" the picture (cloned smoke and buildings to make it look more than it is, darkened the contrast of the pic. etc.) it was on the news.

Just now this was on Yahoo news:

AP - 16 minutes ago
BEIRUT, Lebanon - Lebanon's prime minister said Monday that one person had been killed in an Israeli air raid on the southern village of Houla, lowering the death toll from 40. Meanwhile, in northern Israel, scores of Hezbollah rockets wounded five people, rescue workers said. Both sides appeared to take advantage of the days before a cease-fire resolution, formulated by the U.S. and France, is put to a vote in the U.N. Security Council.

In other places it was initially reported as 60.

The Israeli gov't and pro-gov't elements, instead of recognising that the war is a result of their actions, are distracting attention from the real problem by encouraging everyone to be Israel's "ambassador" and prove to the goyim that ... terrorists are frauds.

In the meantime, everyone's zealously supporting the gov't, and next thing we know it'll be expulsion time (ch"v) and will the "Israel supporters" so easily do a backflip and point out the real fraud--the claim that being democratically elected entitles a gov't to beat, maim, expel, sell out and endanger its citizens?

Don't play into their sly trap and mind game. Forget this nonsense.

Another news report I saw stated that the Prime Minister of Lebanon "fought back tears" as he described the "massacre" at Houla. Apparently, this was witnessed by only one reporter because no one else seemed to pick it up.

I certainly don't begrudge a man for exhibiting emotions over the loss of fellow human life but what is interesting is that you never read a description of Israelis fighting back tears or crying over the loss of a loved one or fellow countryman, except of course, in Israeli newspapers. I guess those tough and rugged Israelis don't cry.

Step 1: A cease fire resolution.

Step 2: A resolution condemning Israel for violating the cease fire resolution and committing war crimes.

Step 3: A resolution authorizing Lebanon "and her allies" to use military force against Israel to enforce resolutions 1 and 2.

Step: 4: Deployment of UN "peace keeping troops" to stop Israel from further violations of 1 and 2 and to assists Lebanon "and her allies" in enforcing the same.

Step 5: Skyrocketing fuel prices with a potential of capping in the double digit figures, causes the US to cowtow to the Arab oil producing nations by not violating their efforts to enforce Steps 1 and 2. (And who is it that found the corrosion in the pipeline in Alaska? British Petroleum.)

Who can be blamed for $4.79 at the pump. (You haven't seen anything yet.) So Saudi Arabia calls an emergency session with oil producing nations to address the crisis.

Of course they would do that. This gives the impression they are concerned about the problem they helped create and further allows them to avoid alienating the US oil barons who assure a US market for their oil despite the inflated prices.

Alternatives to Middle Eastern oil? There are many ways of beating the oil producing nations at their own game provided Washington doesn't mess it up, but I particularly like these. The 100% electric automobile.

Best of all, you don't need Middle Eastern oil to make electricity. All you need is air and a couple of little magnets. ;)

Do you still think I am joking? How else are we going to get to the end of Zechariah 14?
