Background of Chabad niggunim
I have a friend who's teaching niggunim. I'm looking for a compilation of explanations of the historical context, the deeper meaning, authorship, etc., of Chabad niggunim--as many as possible. It could be in written form in loshon haKodesh or in English, or related as a hakdamah to an audio of the niggunim. Can anyone help?

If this is still relevant, Chassidus.com (http://chassidus.com/audio/enign/) has audio of the niggunim, often several renditions, with a historical overview first. This link leads to the English explanation, but there are also with Yiddish.
