I read in a book by Rabbi Alon Anava that he brings in the name of the Chafetz Chaiim I think it was that 72 years after the 2nd Gog UMagog, there may be the redemption (if I am repeating it right) and seeing that WWII ended in 1945, then 72 years later would be 2017, this year. I am hoping to see some sign of the redemption in Nissan this year.

If the redemption does not come in Nissan (this year) would it be right for us to believe that the redemption could come at any other time of the year as well, or do we need to wait for the next Nissan to come around again?

The latest geulah prediction that I have heard was in the name of Rav Ashlag. Apparently he predicted that the geulah would come in the year 5778 our current year. I hope he was right.

Moshiach will come when we want him to come....
Right now it doesn't really seem like we want him to.

Didn't the Lubavitcher Rebbe suggest that we should expect Mashiach immediately any time now?
